Your decking is laid on top of your network of joists. We use quality materials such as plywood or oriented strand board (OSB), sourced from trusted suppliers. All decking is cut-to-measure, resulting in a tight and accurate fit and installed to create a flat, even surface. This makes it easier for us to seal your new flat roof.

Trims and Fittings

What we commonly call a flat roof is rarely flat. It may incorporate vents or chimneys, skylights, or a range of other additions. If nothing else, most flat roofs require a raised trim in order to accurately coat and seal the roofing deck. All of this is incorporated into the original design and installed once the decking is fitted.

Sealing and Finishing

There are several ways to seal and finish a flat roof, protecting it against the elements. The most popular are bitumen-infused roofing felt, which is applied with a torch; fibreglass, which is applied as a liquid and then hardened; and the synthetic rubber EPDM, which is glued to the decking and roof trim.
